Pre-finished drawer sides made out of premium clear Baltic Birch plywood. Baltic Birch plywood has no voids in the plys and is very durable. The drawer sides are 7/16″ thick and 5 feet long. Pre-finished with a clear coat. Kerfed and nosed for drawer bottoms for easy installation.
Save time and money with 100% premade drawersides. These precisely made drawersides have 30% more ply’s than domestically produced drawersides. This produces a drawerside with virtually void free construction, excellent machinability and dimensional stability. Drawersides are made for extended life and to endure heavy loads.
Prefinished drawersides are coated on both sides with low VOC UV clear coat. This tough topcoat resists scratching and saves material and labor costs associated with in-house finishing. The unfinished drawersides are fine sanded ready to receive your preferred finish or stain.

What We Offer
Our Prefinished Plywood provides an attractive, ready to use, White Birch finished plywood.
Our UV cured, clear coated White Birch panels feature a consistent mill finish and creamy uniform white color that saves time and money. Our UV plywood product is consistently part of our inventory in our main ports.
Benefits
By using our environmentally responsible Prefinished Hardwood Plywood, you can reduce exposure to harmful VOC emissions, substantially lower both sanding and finishing costs and greatly improve productivity by eliminating the need for in-house finishing.

Common Finishes
Our Ultraviolet cured finish provides a clean and highly durable clear coat. As a standard, our UV prefinished plywood panels are produced with a 40 sheen levels for satin appearance. Higher sheen levels are available by request. We offer UV finishing as a topcoat on one or both sides of the panels.

We commonly stock 5.2mm (1/4”) UV finished plywood 1 side, 12mm (1/2”) UV finished 1 or 2 sides, 15mm (5/8”) UV finished 1 or 2 sides and 18mm (3/4”) UV finished 1 or 2 sides. Stocking panels come in 4×8, but we also offer a 48.5×96.5 panel on a futures basis.
Glue Types
We offer our prefinished plywood UV top-coated in TSCA Certified glues.
Cores
Far East American produces UV finished White Birch panels in a wide variety of cores from our standard multiply veneer core to high end lamination grade veneer cores. All panels tightly calibrated to ensure exceptional thickness tolerances.

Other Species

Making drawers? Take a tip from the pros and use these ready-to-use Birch Drawer Sides. The precut components can reduce your project construction time, labor and quite possibly save a few dollars as well. They are prefinished with a clear UV finish and a flat top edge.
Drawer sides are 1/2″ thick x 6″ high x 60″ long, constructed from 9-ply Baltic Birch with a 1/4″ slot to accept the drawer bottom.

This product is shipped UN-ASSEMBLED (5 pieces). Assembly of this item is very easy and can be done with only a rubber mallet and some wood glue.

Assembly Notes:
These drawer boxes are a contractor grade cabinet drawer box. Please be aware that when the box is fully assembled, the joints will be very tight in order to create a seamless box. Since the joints are so snug, you may need to use a rubber mallet or a light hammer to tap the pieces together. If you are not comfortable assembling the drawer box yourself, feel free to select the “assembly” option from the drop down menu above. Barker Door can always assemble and sand the drawer box for you at a minimal charge.
Drawer Box Glue Application:
It is recommended to add a small drop of wood glue to each dovetail just before assembling the drawer boxes. Remember that when assembling drawer boxes, less glue is better than too much glue. Any wood glue will work for assembly but we recommend Titebond (available at your local Home improvement store).
